Sarah "Lib" Dickens Marley, 88, of Staley passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Woodland Hill Center.

She was a devoted and loving wife, a member of Staley United Methodist Church. She retired from Klaussner Furniture after 19 years of service.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at
2:00 p.m. at Staley United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Bryan Maness; burial will follow in Staley Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was the daughter of the late Robert Bright Dickens and Sarah Parks Dickens and was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin "Speedy" Fred Marley and her brother, Robert Lee Dickens.

Surviving are her sisters, Doris Creakman of Oregon and Phyllis Scott of Asheboro; and nieces and nephews, Larry Boyd Marley, Ronald Ellison, Myrna Nixon, Connie Hedgepath, David McNeill, Tammy Long, Howard McNeill, Brandon Scott, Edward Scott, and Anita Creakman.

The family wishes to express their most sincere gratitude to the staff at Woodland Hill Center for their love and care Mrs. Marley received.
